We help social enterprises by directing them towards conceptual and financial support in Hamburg.

#Update Hamburg 2025

Die Behörde für Wirtschaft und Innovation stellt 2025 erneut eine Million Euro für sozial-innovative Vorhaben in Hamburg bereit. Erste Projektskizzen können bis zum 28. März 2025 bei der Hamburgischen Investitions- und Förderbank (IFB Hamburg) eingereicht werden.

Im Fokus der Förderung steht die Entwicklung innovativer Lösungsansätze für gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen mit besonderer Relevanz für Hamburg. Der PROFI Impuls Förderaufruf #UpdateHamburg 2025 folgt damit der Regionalen Innovationsstrategie des Hamburger Senats, in deren Zentrum die Vision „Mit Innovationen gemeinsam für eine lebenswerte Stadt“ steht.

InnoImpact

Hamburg was the first German state to introduce a grant program specifically for social enterprises: InnoImpact. Backed by Hamburg Investment and Development Bank (IFB), the scheme supports startups during the pre-launch and start-up phases with a lump sum.

The scheme is aimed at startups and social enterprises tackling societal challenges across all sectors, particularly in the social and environmental sphere, provided they contribute to at least one of the United Nations’ Sustainability Goals (SDGs).

#moinzukunft Hamburg Climate Fund

The #moinzukunft Hamburg Climate Fund supports non-profit initiatives aimed at raising awareness of the global and local impacts of climate change.

HamburgInnoGrowth (HIG)

HIG’s new “Future Fund” supports innovative start-ups and SMEs in our city. Generous funding by the Federal Government (70%) and the City of Hamburg (30%) is available for smart, scalable business models with a social value.

Whether your enterprise specialises in eco-innovation, digitalization or social entrepreneurship, if you have a novel idea and clear growth targets, it could be eligible for funding.

Innovation Programme for Business Models and Pioneering Solutions

The BMWK’s Innovation Programme for Business Models and Pioneering Solutions (IGP) helps SMEs to translate promising non-technological innovations into reality. The current call for funding, launched on 12 June 2024, is aimed at business models and pioneering solutions for improving health and social care services.

Der ZukunftsWIRkungs-Fonds ist eure Chance, eurem erfolgreichen Projekt den nächsten großen Schritt zu ermöglichen. In Kooperation mit der Deutschen Postcode Lotterie unterstützt die Deutsche Stiftung für Engagement und Ehrenamt (DSEE) Projekte, die den gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt stärken und dauerhafte gesellschaftliche Verbesserungen bewirken.
