mellem – The first digital platform for the end-of-life ecosystem. Death affects everyone, yet the end-of-life sector is one of the least digitised sectors of our society. In the midst of emotionally charged, exceptional circumstances, bereaved families are confronted with analogue processes, opaque procedures and bureaucratic hurdles. At the same time, cemeteries, funeral directors, stonemasons and bereavement counsellors often work in isolation, using outdated software and without digital standards, which leads to confusion for users and inefficiencies for service providers. We are providing a solution with a central, modular platform that, for the first time, digitally connects the entire end-of-life ecosystem.
