Make Trees Matter gUG

Make Trees Matter gUG is engaged in reforestation of former forest or agricultural land, as well as areas that have become barren or even fallen victim to desertification. We are currently active mainly in northeastern Spain (Valencia region), where the effects of climate change and the lack of native tree species are most negatively felt. We collect money through donations in our Tree Shop at https://maketreesmatter.shop.epages.de/ and via www.maketreesmatter.de. With the shop, we want to combine the familiar tools of online commerce and traditional charity (donations) in a way that involves supporters, for example, by allowing them to choose the tree seedling they want to plant. The organization works locally through planting campaigns held twice a year, for which local volunteers are sought.
