“Ashé” is a very old philosophical concept from West Africa. David Amoateng, social economist and founder of the company, is driven by the idea of offering children toys that represent their individual diversity. They should enable them to identify with the dolls and promote diversity among all children – regardless of skin color. As a visionary and initiator, he is committed to creating an inclusive toy world. He founded the company in 2020.

Promoting diversity through diverse toys is about showing children a world that is as unique and diverse as they are and as the people they see around them. Through this education, children can feel represented in toys and learn to be tolerant, respectful, and inclusive. This helps them to shape their relationships with themselves and others positively throughout their lives.
