Child Resource Radar e.V. provides information on innovative digital solutions that protect and empower children and young people. We have already learned a lot from setting up our first internationally oriented platform, childresourceradar.org. Now we have secured new funding for our Germany-focused project DigiStars and are focusing all our efforts on its implementation. About the project: With DigiStars, we are building a platform that presents all the high-quality digital tools and innovations available to children and young people in Germany (and keeps an eye on what is in development!). This covers topics such as mental health, self-esteem, online safety, school success, protection from violence, bullying, sex education, participation, and much more. (See, for example, Krisenchat, Between-the-lines, Laemon, FragLovis, and many more.) All tools are tested against expertly developed quality criteria before they are added to the platform. And participation is part of the program: children and young people help shape the platform in a participatory manner and are inspired and encouraged to help shape further developments in digital innovation in their living environment. Overall, with DigiStars, we want to start a movement for and with children and young people that focuses on positive innovation, digital education, and participation.
