AllerLeih

AllerLeih is a non-profit, open-source project aimed at establishing sharing and borrowing as an everyday alternative to buying — to reduce consumption, make things more affordable and strengthen social connections. The project combines three mutually reinforcing pathways of impact: a non-commercial online lending marketplace (P2P + organised lending), physical lending shops in local partner institutions, and a starter kit for third parties to set up new lending shops. Two pilot lending shops are currently being set up in Lüneburg as real-world social laboratories. The platform allerleih.org is currently in beta.
