Qualitätsverbund Babylotse e.V.

The Babylotse programme aims to identify challenges at an early stage, build trust, assess support needs and, where necessary, arrange tailored assistance. The Babylotse e.V. quality network was founded in 2019 to carry out these tasks nationwide in accordance with uniform quality standards and to support professionals working at the interface between the health care system and the child and youth welfare system. Today, the association brings together just under 60 members from 13 federal states. Members include the employing organisations of the Babylots*innen, such as maternity hospitals, as well as local authority or independent organisations. Around one-fifth of all maternity hospitals in Germany are therefore members of the Babylotse Quality Association.
